Privacy policy
The operator of this service has not been named yet. Until it is, this text is a draft and no account should be opened on the strength of it.
Work Transcendence builds a graph of what you know out of what you tell it. That makes the data it holds unusually personal, and this page says exactly what is kept, why, for how long, and what you can do about it.
What we store
- Your account — your name, your email address, and a one-way hash of your password. The password itself is never stored.
- What you give the service — every message you write to the agent, every document you upload, and the text extracted from it. This is kept unchanged, in the language you wrote it in.
- What the service derives — the claims extracted from your words (a skill, a role, a company, a goal, a problem), each with the sentence it came from and the time it holds for, and the canonical concept each claim was matched to. The canonical names are in English; the quoted sentence is yours, verbatim.
- How you use it — your token balance and every change to it with its reason, your listings, applications, inquiries, meetings, availability, and your searches.
- Technical records — server logs carrying a request id, your account id, the path and the time, kept for diagnosing faults. They do not carry the content of what you wrote.
- Billing — if you attach a card, the payment provider holds the card and hands us a customer reference. We store that reference, your name and your address together with it. Card numbers never reach us.
Why, and on what basis
- To provide the service (performance of a contract): the account, what you give us, and what we derive from it. Without these there is no graph and nothing to match.
- To show you to others (your consent): your profile is private when the account is created. Nobody but you sees your graph until you choose to enter the pool. The moment you do, the date of that choice is recorded, and you can reverse it at any time by switching back to private.
- To keep the service safe (legitimate interest): the technical records, rate limits, and the one-way mark of a deleted account's address described below.
- To keep the books (legal obligation): the billing record, for as long as tax law requires it.
Who sees what
While your profile is private, only you see it. When you enter the pool, signed-in members can find you, and a company can compare you against its listings. What they see is the comparison: which of their requirements a claim of yours meets, the quoted sentence behind it, and the resulting percentage. What the platform's own administrators see is listed in the admin panel and limited to running the service.
Automated processing
A language model reads what you write and what you upload in order to extract the claims. For that, the text is sent to the model provider and returned; the provider is named in the technical documentation and can be changed. The matching percentages are a computation over those claims, not a decision about you: a company sees the evidence and makes its own decision, and no automated decision with legal effect is made on this platform.
How long
- Your account and everything in it: for as long as the account exists.
- Technical records: for a limited period, long enough to diagnose a fault and no longer.
- The billing record: for the period tax law requires after the last invoice, then removed by a job that runs daily.
Deleting the account
You can delete the account yourself, from the application, at any time. What you wrote goes: your name, your address, your password, every message, every document, every quoted sentence, your own phrasing of every term, your notes, your mentor bio, your inquiries, your schedule. What the system derived stays, without anything that could point back to you: that some account knew a concept of some kind on some date, and what it cost to serve. That residue is what keeps the platform's statistics honest, and it identifies nobody.
Two things are kept on purpose. A one-way, salted hash of your address, so a deleted account cannot simply be reopened under the same address; it cannot be turned back into the address. And, if you had attached a card, the billing record, on the basis and for the period described above.
Your rights
- Access and portability — the application exports everything it holds about you in one document, on demand, at any time.
- Correction — tell the agent, and the claim is reinterpreted; or write to us.
- Erasure — delete the account, as described above.
- Withdrawing consent — switch the profile back to private. From that moment you are in nobody's search.
- Complaint — you may complain to the data protection authority of the country you live in.

Where the data lives
On servers and a managed database rented from a hosting provider in the European Union, and, for the duration of a request, with the model provider named in the technical documentation.
